If you’re here in the US, you might be anticipating the return to work after a nice long weekend tomorrow. Or, you might be able to relate to heading back to the office after a vacation..

In either case, the first thing that might strike you is How Much You Have To Do. It can feel overwhelming, can’t it? Then you start thinking about lists of things, the email pileup, the meeting you’re presenting at, the kids day camp. And BAM.

You’re busy.
.
Swamped.
.
Life is out of control.
.
You’re running life narrative seems to be about how much you’ve got going on. And so you talk about it. A lot.

I challenge you to change that up a bit. I dare you to start using different language about the overwhelm of life. And when you do, send me a note and let me know what you notice about your stress.
