If you are upwardly mobile, want to reach for the stars, and get the title of your dreams, at some point you’re going to be working with executives.
I’m not talking about mid level managers, here. I’m talking about the CEO level, and in big organizations, those who report to the CEO.
While you may be thrilled (or terrified) about the opportunity for exposure at that level, there are certain things you must know. Mostly, understand that senior level executives are – for the most part – a bit different from the rest of us.
To work effectively with them, you have to develop a set of skills that make you competent and comfortable playing at their level. Ok, well maybe comfortable will come in time.
