“Our greatest glory is not in never falling,
but in rising every time we fall.“
– Confucius
Inspiration is such a funny thing. It can come from all different kinds of places.
Sometimes it comes from beautiful places, like the ocean or a garden.
Other times it comes from the obstacles that block our way. Or even the failures that we experience.
In this week’s column for The Daily Muse, How to Overcome a Weakness & Gain Confidence in Your Skills, I share an unnerving experience from my early career that could have held me back. I thought seriously about letting it stop me in my tracks.
Thankfully, I was given the gift of inspiration from it.
Go here to read about my experience, and see if you can relate. Or maybe you’ll get inspired.
When you use a failure to inspire you, you are building a sound Career Strategy.
